How To Beat Jetlag

Jetlag happen because your body react to crossing time zones. What you need to do is reset your internal body clock!

Before the travelling

Try to shift your sleep pattern. Go to bed an hour earlier or later depending on which direction you are flying – but not more than 1 hour per night- for as many time zones as you are going to cross.

On the plane

  1. Go to sleep as soon as possible. Wear loose clothing, a mask and earplug.
  2. Don’t take sleeping pills, because they will interfere with you sleep pattern when you arrive at your destination.
  3. Don’t drink alcohol or coffee. Just drink water to hydrate yourself.

When you arrive

Stay up until it’s bed time and walk around. If you must nap make it not more than an hour.

Hope you enjoy the flight!
