The Chamber Music Series brings you music in an intimate and raw form. Discussions and presentations about the music will be led by Dr. Michael Hall, director of Education Programs, and Airin Efferin, Co-Founder and CEO.

Four Hands chamber concert features Principal Oboe Cooper Wright, Principal Horn Bob Stoel, and pianist Hazim Suhadi. Prepare to be blown away by this world class ensemble.

Season Four of Bandung Philharmonic continues with Israeli - American pianist Sally Pinkas performing Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto for Piano and Orchestra. In Sally’s fingers and the baton of Maestro Robert Nordling, this piece is sure to be the highlight of the season.

This concert also features the rockstar composer Aksan Sjuman, perhaps best known through his collaboration with Melly Goeslaw and Anto Hoed in the band POTRET. Hear how his genius manifests in a new work for the symphony orchestra.

Ending with Schubert’s glorious Unfinished Symphony, prepare to have your life changed after this concert.

For you who always wondering about Balinese traditional activities, from farming to cooking and the preparation of their religious ceremonies. This is the ultimate tour for you!

We will take you to participate and experience various Balinese traditional activities such as Balinese Dancing Class, Gebogan and Mejejaitan.

In Balinese Dancing Class, a local dancer will teach you basic step of Balinese Dance. Then you can learn how to string up busung (young coconut leaves) for religious equipment in Mejejaitan. Last but not least you can participate in the making of Balinese offering called gebogan.

Learn how to make fancy cupcakes or donut soap with us. You will be guided by our professional tutor, from introducing ingredients, mixing them and how to fuse the color until the end of the process. 

This experience will be different than any other soap class, because it will feels like we are baking cake instead of making soap. At the end of the class you will be allowed to bring home the result.

Seseh, the place where we grew up and learned to surf, is primarily a fishing village. Together with Seseh Bali Fishing Club, We are campaigning for sustainable and responsible fishing. We strive to convince the fishing community to use only eco-friendly methods and tools.

Fishing with us is not just about catching fish, it’s about working together as a community and sharing our life experiences for a healthy marine eco system to maintain a sustainable sea food supply. Using variety of methods, some of the fish species we may encounter include amberjack, barracuda, lobster, mahi-mahi, sailfish, spanish mackerel, tuna, giant trevally, yellow fin trevally, and wahoo.

Comfortable clothing for fishing, towel or sarong,  sunscreen, and change of clothes (optional)

If you want hands-on experience building with bamboo, this is the workshop for you.

Come to Bali and participate in a 3-day workshop in which you learn the basics of how Ibuku’s design-build team takes a scaled bamboo model and turns it into a real but incredible-looking building. This workshop will cover a range of building techniques that are essential to constructing in bamboo.
