Based on our decades of surfing experience, and years of instruction, you will learn the essential techniques to get you started, even if you've never set foot on a board before.

You will learn

1. The features of your first surf board, safety procedures, and understanding the ocean.
2. The dynamics of the surf spot, with focus on currents, shore break, sets, and the areas to be or not to be in.
3. How to carry your board into the water.
4. Paddle techniques on the sand continuing in flat water, as well as where to paddle out and paddle in.
5. Paddling techniques through breaking waves.
6. How to catch your first wave.
7. Pop up or stand up techniques, first on the sand and continuing in the surf, riding it straight, the basic bottom turn, and safety aspects of how to fall and resurface.
8. How to Identify the peak of a wave, and how to respect other surfers.

Rafting along the wonderful Maiting River. Maiting is a class 2-3 river, it has more than 10 waterfalls and sometimes we could paddle under them. If you dare enough, you can try rock jumping in one of the best spots that we have.

The Bali Quad and Bali Buggy Tour brings you to a part of Bali where you can still find old customs alive. Both quad and buggies use the same tracks for their tour. You will be able to drive yourself with a specially designed off-road vehicle that copes with all kinds of terrain through an authentic part of Bali; crossing a jungle, passing rice fields, driving along cliffs, going through plantations, and driving through two traditional Balinese villages. The views during the tour are sometimes beyond description. For each tour we only accept a limited number of participants to be able to give you the best possible service. After completing a test drive on our training circuit you will be able to operate the quad bike or buggy yourself and start the adventurous sightseeing tour. For participants that are not comfortable driving themselves, our guides will do the driving, while they enjoy the trip as a co-pilot.

Our special off road car will transport you to this hidden canyon in the north of Payangan where you will drift down the exciting and crystal clear Siap stream in your own inflatable tube. This is one of the few places in Bali that has maintained its natural beauty. You can still find many different species of untouched flora, fauna, rare birds, and other animals.

It is very likely that you will spot a group of monkeys playing in the surrounding forest of this secreted canyon. In some places, the small but active Siap River makes it too difficult for you to stay in your own tube. Therefore, we have made wooden footpaths to get you across. In one location above an impressive waterfall, we have constructed a long thrilling ‘Flying Fox’ that will enable you to actually fly through the canyon! For maximum security we only allow participants with a minimum height of 125cm and a max. weight of 120kg to join this activity.

From the starting point, our special off- road car will transport you to the slope of the Canyon, and after short 3 minute descend into the Canyon your great adventure begins! At the ending point of the canyon, your adventure is not over yet; our off road car will be waiting right next to the river to drive you back up to our bamboo restaurant (no torturous climbing torture after the trip!), where you will enjoy our extended hot lunch buffet.
